Growing: Chocolate Mint

Chocolate Mint 2Mint chocolate ice cream, mint chocolate bars, mojitos on a hot day…  How could we see this herb and not want to plant it?  This is our most lively plant — a singleton in the garden but the one that has really added the most volume over the past few weeks.
It wasn’t too fond of the excessive rain but fared well with good drainage and light.  This produces a lovely chocolate mint scent upon the lightest touch and having tried it, adds a fresh flavour to a cool drink.
The chocolate is faint but noticeable and gives this mint a very unique flavour.  A very easy herb to grow with pleasant qualities all around.
