Growing: Bright Lights Swiss Chard

Bright Lights Swiss Chard
We’re very happy with the growth of our first batches of Swiss chard. It grew very well, the colour was apparent quick and despite heavy rainfall, all beds were quite resilient and strong.

We are thinking of harvesting some of our Swiss Chard at different times to determine how they will be best used with different dishes. We really like our experience planting this variety so far and will continue to grow it in larger amounts. We also intend to try some other varieties on our next planting.

This has been a really great experience for us and we’re so excited to share our greens with the community which we are anticipating soon. If there are any greens or crops that you would like to see at your favourite restaurants, let us know! We want to complement your dining experience and provide the items not commonly found in dining establishments in the Waterloo region.
